Charlestown celebrates

Every May Day the Charlestown Garden Club places nosegays at all the elevator entrances and at other prominent locations throughout our buildings. But this year in May we are celebrating Charlestown’s 25th anniversary. The Garden Club reflected that milestone in their numerous nosegays, which you can see here.
Residents were encouraged to decorate their doorways and shelves with silver, and many have done so. On his walk yesterday, Ernie took some pictures. If you remember Esther, here is her apartment entrance decorated for the silver anniversary.
